Visitors' Choice · 2027
Gatlinburg
The people who fill this town every year get to say who actually earned their visit — not whoever bought the biggest brochure.
Why Gatlinburg is different
A visitor decides in ten seconds, with no local knowledge
Sevier County draws more than 12 million visitors a year, and almost every one of them picks dinner from a rack card, a billboard or whichever storefront was busiest. All three are paid placement. None of them tell you whether the food is good.
So the Gatlinburg ballot is a visitors' ballot. Voting runs across the whole season, not a two-week window, so people vote from the parking lot while the meal is still fresh instead of trying to remember it in February. Votes are ZIP-flagged: if a category tips heavily toward local ZIP codes, we review it, because this list is supposed to answer a visitor's question.
